Yesterday, a session of the United Nations Security Council was held.

The representatives of the United States and the United Kingdom, among other things, stated that it is time for the UNMIK mission in Kosovo to be closed.

The Media Advisor to the Presidency, Bekim Kupina, said that this has been a longstanding request by President Vjosa Osmani.

“This has also been a longstanding request of President Osmani, reiterated in the addresses she made to the Security Council,” said Kupina, as reported by Klankosova.tv.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, also called for the end of the UNMIK mission in Kosovo last night.
