Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, has warned that recent reports of espionage targeting the country are a serious signal of national security risks, especially in recent years.

According to sources from KosovaPress, the father-in-law of controversial figure Milan Radojčić, Seat Redzepagic, who is employed by the OSCE, has had close contacts with Jelena Djukanoviq, a suspect accused of espionage.

During a press conference, Osmani stated:

“This is an alert that everyone must increase vigilance and ensure that their actions do not benefit those who oppose the sovereignty of Kosovo. What we are facing, especially in recent years, is a sign of great danger. It also reflects the continuous attempts by Serbia to use every instrument to jeopardize the Republic of Kosovo.”

She further emphasized that Serbia has repeatedly exploited individuals working within international organizations for intelligence purposes. Osmani noted that Kosovo’s security institutions had previously informed her about certain persons posing national security risks, and she raised these concerns with international organizations both locally and at their central offices.

“It is unacceptable for such individuals to penetrate these organizations without proper security clearance and misuse them to endanger the Republic of Kosovo. I was unaware that one of them is the father-in-law of Radojčić,” she added.

Sources also report that Redzepagic traveled to Ukraine this year, highlighting the international dimension of the security concerns.
