Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani held a meeting today with Grand Mufti of the Kosovo Islamic Community (BIK), Naim Tërnava.
According to the Presidency, the discussions focused on BIK’s role in enhancing Kosovo’s international standing, promoting interfaith tolerance, and the importance of continuing to cultivate this tradition.
“President Osmani highly appreciated the Kosovo Islamic Community’s contribution to fostering interfaith harmony, which represents one of the most valued aspects of Kosovar society and serves as a notable regional example. She emphasized that cooperation between state institutions and religious communities is essential for a just and inclusive society,” the official statement said.
