Montenegrin police are searching for 30-year-old Russian citizen Mihail Shabunjin, who is suspected of killing three people in a shooting in Danilovgrad on Monday.
According to police, Shabunjin allegedly used a firearm to kill Petar Globarević, 24, from Podgorica; Momir Radonjić, 67, from Danilovgrad; and Nemanja Kapor, 20, from Podgorica.
All three victims were reportedly employed at the “Češka zbrojevka” shooting range near Danilovgrad.
Authorities are investigating whether the suspect fled the scene in a Seat Cordoba bearing registration plates PG AC 472. According to Vijesti, the vehicle is owned by the father of one of the victims.
Police have launched an intensive search for Shabunjin and warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities have urged residents to remain indoors and avoid approaching the suspect if they encounter him.
Police are asking anyone with information about Shabunjin’s whereabouts or movements to contact them on 122, through the Policija CG mobile application, or by other available means. Information can also be provided anonymously.
The investigation and search operation remain ongoing.
