The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo announced that offensive stickers with Serbian chauvinistic content were placed on the identification plaque outside the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Berlin earlier today.

According to the ministry’s statement, the inscriptions included nationalist and inciting slogans, such as “No surrender” and “Kosovo is Serbia,” along with other messages described as propagandistic and divisive.

Officials said that immediately after the incident was discovered, the embassy informed the competent German authorities. German police have been notified and are expected to take the necessary actions at the scene, including a full investigation into the circumstances and identifying those responsible.

In its reaction, the ministry strongly condemned any acts of vandalism, hate speech, and attempts to target Kosovo’s diplomatic missions. It emphasized that such actions are unacceptable and contrary to international norms and conventions that guarantee the inviolability of diplomatic missions, and that they undermine the spirit of coexistence and mutual respect between states.

The statement concluded that Kosovo remains committed to promoting peace, dialogue, cooperation, and strong international relations, and will continue to carry out its diplomatic mission in full accordance with international principles and standards.
