Slavica Radovanović, a retired colonel of the Serbian Police, has criticized Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić regarding the case of Faton Hajrizi. She stated that with his frequent and sometimes unprecedented statements, he has shown himself unworthy of his position, reports ‘Nova’.

Dačić labeled the killing of officer Krsmanović and the wounding of officer Ilić as terrorism. However, according to Radovanović, “this should not be called terrorism, as it was a prison escapee, a criminal attempting to cross the border illegally.”

“This should not be called terrorism, as it was a prison escapee, a criminal attempting to cross the border illegally. Minister Dačić should have addressed the public, but not so frequently and not with so much information made public.

He should not be the only one to announce the killing of a police officer; this is the job of the police director or his assistant. With his frequent appearances, followed by polemics with the news published in the Kosovo media,” said retired police colonel Slavica Radovanović.
