Tamara Skrozza, once the winner of prestigious awards for her investigative journalistic enthusiasm, is today the target of Serbian pro-regime media.
This is how you can describe the life of the last days of Tamara Skrozza, to whom pro-regime Serbian media fabricated words from one of the shows where she was invited.
More specifically, she is accused of saying during the show “If I Were Someone”, broadcast on N1 television, that “President Vucic should have been killed on the night of October 5 and 6, 2000.”
However, her statement said:
“As far as I’m concerned, that night should have been completely different, something similar to what we’ve been taught in the history books. If that night had been different and we would have woken up in another Serbia, a Serbia without some people, I think that today would be a completely different story, and we are actually living in the nineties”.
Then a media frenzy began, led by Pink TV, and all the tabloids claimed one thing – that Skrozza “called for mass murder and the firing of senior government officials in the 1990s.”
She even claimed that there should not be a place in the new government of that country for some of the cadres before the democratic transition itself. She also announced a lawsuit after being accused of words she did not say.
“This is now something that threatens me and my family very concretely and existentially and it cannot just go away. Moreover, this is an outright lie, it is not a manipulation of facts, but something has been put into my mouth that I did not do. say,” Skrozza told the Cenzolovka portal, stressing that he has not yet responded to all accusations similar to a lawsuit, but that in such an extreme situation, they are the only starting point.
