Swedish Police Do Not Confirm Casualties in Orebro School Attack

It was initially reported that at least five people had been shot at a school in the central Swedish city of Orebro.

However, as BBC reports, the police have not confirmed any fatalities from the attack.

A spokesperson for the Swedish police stated that they could not comment on whether there were any casualties, according to BBC.

Gunshots were reported at Risbergska School in the Vasthaga district of Orebro around 1:00 PM.

Lena Warenmark, a teacher at Risbergska, told national broadcaster SVT: “We heard gunshots very close to our classroom. There may have been about ten shots.”
