The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti today received the leaders of the VLEN coalition of Albanian parties in North Macedonia, Bekim Qoku, Bilall Kasami, Arben Taravari, Izet Mejhiti and Afrim Gashi, whom he congratulated on the election result.

One of the leaders of the VLEN coalition, Arben Taravari, said after the meeting that he and Kurti talked about future challenges.

He said that with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, they usually have regular meetings either when they were in the opposition, or now when they are in the phase of forming the government.

“It is simply a brotherly communication between us. Of course, we are talking about the challenges we went through and the future challenges, what we can do for Kosovo and what Kosovo can do for the Albanians of North Macedonia. Together we discussed our future challenges, how we can make the region more stable, more advanced, how we can join NATO and the EU together”, he said.

Taravari said that they are on a good path and that very soon they will come out with concrete and good results for Albanians in general, but also for the state and the region.

He added that they see Kosovo on a good path and know that the main challenge remains the problem with Serbia and the final recognition of Kosovo.

“In this journey, the Albanians of Macedonia and North Macedonia will do their best to help Kosovo and this would be a double victory for both Kosovo and the region. I think that until Kosovo is recognized internationally, it should be the concern of every Albanian. It is mine and I believe it belongs to every Albanian”, said Taravari.
