The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has decorated the Italian Francesco Guiseppe Bider, who died in Koshare as part of the KLA, “post-mortem” with the Hero i order.

The news about the distribution of this medal was confirmed by the president himself through a communication.

Within the framework of the activities of the traditional manifestation “Days of albanians 2024”, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, yesterday decorated the member of the 138th “Agim Ramadani” Brigade, Francesco Guiseppe Bider, with the “Hero of Kosovo” Order, with motivation for bravery and sacrifice for the freedom of Kosovo.
President Osmani handed over the order to the brother of the hero, Mr. Alfredo Bider, accompanied by family members and former leaders of Brigade 138 “Agim Ramadani” and the Battle of Koshare.
President Osmani emphasized that the hero Francesco Bider believed in the freedom of our people and the future of our children.
“It was the images of murders, burnings, the suffering of the displaced, the images of the refugee camps and the whole terrible reality that our people went through under the genocidal regime of Milosevic that pushed Francesco to join the KLA in the fight for the liberation of Kosovo, where he also fell a martyr”, said President Osmani.

According to President Osmani, all members of the KLA were united by the cause of freedom and justice against tyranny, genocide and oppression.
