Today, the Commission for Security and Defense Affairs will hold a meeting, in which the Draft Law for the ratification of the Military Framework Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of the Republic of Turkey will be examined.

Previously, the Government of Kosovo approved the Military Framework Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of Turkey.

The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, had said that the agreement foresees, among other things, cooperation with Turkey in military training and education, exchange of military intelligence, peacekeeping and humanitarian operations.

“This agreement foresees cooperation in these areas: military training and education, exchange of military intelligence, peacekeeping and humanitarian operations,” he said.

This meeting will also review the report with proposed amendments for the Draft Law on the Intelligence and Defense Security Agency, and the examination of the report with proposed amendments for the Draft Law on fire protection.

Also on the agenda are the examination of the report with proposed amendments for the Draft Law on identification, the examination of the report with proposed amendments for the Draft Law on Private Security Services, the preliminary examination of the Draft Law on foreigners, and the formation of the working group for drafting the Work Regulations for the Parliamentary Commissioner for the KSF (Kosovo Security Force).
