The Dutch MEP, Thijs Reuten, has made a reaction regarding the non-inclusion of Kosovo in the agenda of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, saying that Kosovo has fulfilled all the criteria to become a member.

In his profile on “X”, he writes that the member states of the Council of Europe have bowed to Serbia, mentioning Germany, Italy and France.

“The Republic of Kosovo fulfills all the criteria, has won the support of the great majority of the deputies of the member states and belongs to the Council of Europe. The end of Vucic’s appeasement now.

Otherwise, Kosovo did not enter the agenda of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, despite the fact that in April the Parliamentary Assembly had strongly recommended membership.

Germany, France and Italy conditioned Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe with “concrete steps” for the establishment of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.
