The Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, has provided details about the operation in Banjskë, where a Kalashnikov, in the hands of a terrorist, was neutralized by an operator from the Special Police Units.
“Here is a Kalashnikov that was in the hands of a terrorist in Banjskë. Our special unit operator managed to shoot the magazine and disable the weapon. If he wanted, he could have killed him, as it’s easier to aim at the head than the weapon,” Hoxha stated.
He emphasized that there was no intention to kill anyone, highlighting the professionalism of the police forces.
“Who this person is remains confidential, but this is a testament to the level of professionalism and precision of the Kosovo Police, particularly the special units. We are talking about a distance of over 800 meters, and this level of accuracy is envied by special forces of most countries around the world,” Hoxha added.
