The Kosovo police, after intensive investigations, have managed to identify the person suspected of throwing explosives at the cars of Albanian citizens in Lake Ujman.

According to Dukagjin’s sources within the security institutions, the Police are currently raiding the house of the suspect in the north of the country.

A hand grenade was allegedly thrown near Lake Ujman around 2:30 p.m., as a result of which at least two cars were damaged, one with local license plates and the other with American license plates.

The owners of the cars for Dukagjini said that they were bathing in the lake when they heard the crash and saw the black smoke.

They said that they have come to Ujman in the past as well, but they did not have any problems, as they said that the Police removed all the vacationers who were there.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, reacted after the explosion, saying that the security institutions will also be involved in this criminal attack.

In a post on Facebook, Kurti emphasized that Serbia and certain regions friendly to it did not take advantage of the normality created in the north of the country.

He said that the loss of influence in this area has caused nervousness and aggressiveness on the part of Serbia and criminal groups, which have lost the opportunities for great benefits they had after the liberation of Kosovo.
