U.S. Vice President JD Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner are expected to travel to Islamabad for the second round of peace talks between the United States and Iran, according to Donald Trump.

According to reports, an Iranian delegation has also been informed that it may take part in the talks, but Iranian state media have expressed doubts about their participation. The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baqaei, stated that there are currently no confirmed plans for a new round of negotiations.

The U.S. delegation consists of three key figures: JD Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner. The talks come after a temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran, while it remains unclear whether the Iranian side will officially participate in the meetings, CNN reports.
