Three Arrested in Pristina After Police Conduct Three Operations

The police in the Pristina region conducted three surprise operations across separate locations, leading to the arrest of three individuals wanted on active arrest warrants for serious criminal offenses.

According to the police, the first operation took place around 11:00 AM on “Rexhep Luci” Street in Pristina. Police units located a suspect who had been sentenced to seven months in prison for the crime of “Light Bodily Harm.” The officers acted quickly and arrested the individual.

The second operation occurred around 2:00 PM on “Xheladin Hana” Street in Pristina, where, after receiving operational information, police officials managed to locate and apprehend a suspect who had been sentenced to eight years in prison for crimes including “Money Laundering” and “Terrorism Financing.”

The third operation was carried out around 3:00 PM on “Nazim Gafurri” Street in Pristina, where officers caught by surprise another suspect who had been sentenced to three years in prison for the crime of “Fraud.”

“All of the arrested individuals, in accordance with court decisions, were transferred to the appropriate centers to serve their sentences,” the statement reads.

The Kosovo Police emphasized their commitment to taking swift actions against those attempting to evade legal consequences and reaffirmed their dedication to maintaining public order, the rule of law, and public safety.
