In honor of fallen police officers, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) will organize activities in the north on Friday.
A recreational-sporting event involving jumps from the Ujman Lake Bridge is scheduled to take place at 2:00 PM.
This event also marks the anniversary of the killing of police officer Enver Zymberi, who was killed in the north of Kosovo on July 26, 2011.
He was killed during an operation to take control of border checkpoints. A year ago, a monument with the names of fallen police officers was erected.
