Former U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he had a “very good” phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which lasted about an hour.
“Most of the discussion was based on the call that took place the previous day with President Putin, with the aim of bringing Russia and Ukraine closer in terms of their demands and needs,” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform.
Trump mentioned that both parties are moving toward a common path and that he had asked U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz to provide a proper summary of the points that were discussed.
