Former U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that individuals caught sabotaging Tesla cars could face prison sentences of up to 20 years.

Trump made this announcement in a post on the social media platform “Truth Social.”

“People caught sabotaging Teslas will have a very good chance of going to prison for up to twenty years, and this includes the financiers,” he wrote.

This statement comes after U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi referred to attacks on Tesla property as “domestic terrorism” and assured the public that full investigations would be carried out, with severe consequences for those involved.
