U.S. President Donald Trump заявил that the conflicts in Iran and Ukraine could conclude at roughly the same time, following a recent conversation with Vladimir Putin.
Speaking to CNN, Trump said: “Which war will end first? Maybe they will end at a similar time.”
He reiterated his position that Iran has been militarily weakened, claiming that the United States has destroyed significant portions of its naval and air capabilities. Trump had previously predicted that the conflict in Iran launched by the U.S. on February 28 would last between four to six weeks, while the war in Ukraine has been ongoing since 2022.
Trump added that he briefly discussed Iran with Putin, expressing optimism about a potential resolution.
“I think we will come up with a solution soon. We would like to see a good solution,” he stated.
The remarks come amid ongoing geopolitical tensions and diplomatic efforts, with both conflicts continuing to shape global security and energy dynamics.
