The Commander of NATO’s Kosovo Force (KFOR), Major General Ozkan Ulutash, held a meeting today with the Commander of the Slovak Special Operations Forces, Major General Jaroslav Kram, to discuss security developments in Kosovo, the wider region, and beyond.
During the meeting, the two generals exchanged views on current challenges and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining stability and peace in Kosovo.
“KFOR continues to carry out its mandate to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, as well as to guarantee freedom of movement — at all times and in an impartial manner,” the mission said in its statement.
The statement further emphasized that KFOR closely coordinates its efforts with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), in accordance with their respective responsibilities in the field of security.
