An unexploded device discovered yesterday afternoon in Ferizaj caused public concern after workers reported it to the police in a busy area.
According to reports, the case was filed around 3:00 PM by a 47-year-old man identified as B.K., who found a suspected unexploded shell while working on the overpass near “Zenel Hajdini” school.
Police reaction units immediately arrived at the scene, securing the perimeter. Shortly after, demining teams from the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) and KFOR intervened, successfully removing the device in a safe manner.
The operation concluded without incidents, and the situation has since been normalized.
