Renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli paid a special visit to U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, where he delivered a spontaneous performance inside the Oval Office.

Trump’s assistant Margo Martin shared a video of the moment on X (formerly Twitter), showing Bocelli standing in front of the Resolute Desk, dressed in a black suit and wearing his signature sunglasses, while Trump watched from behind the desk.

Listen to this,” Trump said as Bocelli’s iconic song “Time to Say Goodbye” began to play. The tenor joined in singing a few lines before briefly laughing.

Another clip posted by Martin shows Trump and Bocelli chatting at the President’s desk while listening to one of Bocelli’s recordings.

Speaking to reporters, Trump announced that Bocelli will perform at the White House on December 5, just two days before the Kennedy Center Honors ceremony, according to Deadline.
