The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has called to strengthen the defense of the European Union.
While talking about world conflicts and wars, she emphasized that it is very important and that defense capacity should be strengthened.
“Those who speak like Putin do not want peace, but they will continue to exist.” That is why it is so important that we continue to support Ukraine and strengthen our defense capacity. If we have to maintain peace on our continent, then we have to invest in defense,” said Ursula von der Leyen.
