Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic said Banjska should not have happened, but that “Serbia should not accept the narrative that Banjska is determined by the way Pristina views the event”.
Vucevic said Banjska did not happen by herself, but that it was a reaction to a series of moves by Pristina authorities – “from arrests to the wounding and beating of Serbs”.
“It was not the time for democracy and human and minority rights to flourish in Kosovo, so someone became lazy and did what happened,” Vucevic told Prva TV yesterday.
Vucic said that within a year a large number of people have left Kosovo, saying that pressure has been put on them and that he is afraid that this will continue.
He added that it is a shame for those who have to keep the situation under control, referring to the Internationals.
