The municipality of North Mitrovica has announced that water tankers will be deployed throughout the city’s neighborhoods due to the disruption of the water supply following Friday’s attack on the Ibër-Lepenc canal.
The tankers will be stationed in the Bosniak neighborhood, near the hospital, and near the police station.
“Dear citizens, as a result of the terrorist attack last night on the Ibër-Lepenc canal, the water supply has been interrupted. We inform you that today water tankers will be placed in the neighborhoods of North Mitrovica, according to the following schedule:
- 13:00 – Bosniak neighborhood
- 13:45 – Neighborhoods near the hospital
- 14:30 – Neighborhoods near the police station,” the announcement states.
The municipality also stated that additional water tankers will be available in other neighborhoods until the regular water supply is restored.
