Kosovo Police conducted a raid today on two Serbian parallel structure facilities in Leposaviq, suspected of money laundering.
The case was confirmed by Veton Elshani, Deputy Director of Police for the Northern Region.
Elshani reported that documents, computers, and cash were seized from the locations.
The operation was carried out under the order of the Basic Court in Mitrovica.
“Under the court order in Mitrovica, the premises of the Serbian People’s Bank, Kosovo Branch, and the Treasury Directorate, Ministry of Finance in Leposaviq were raided. The Economic Crimes unit continues the money laundering case related to banks from earlier. Evidence such as documents, computers, cash, etc., were confiscated from the location, which has been sealed,” Elshani stated.
