Croatian outlet Index.hr has confirmed the arrest of a Croatian Air Force pilot, identified as J.I., and his Serbian partner Ana Dragomir Murganić, 46, from North Mitrovica, under serious suspicions of espionage.
Exclusive information obtained by Gazeta Express reveals that Murganić resides on Ivo Lola Ribar Street in North Mitrovica and has long-standing ties to pro-Belgrade structures in Kosovo.
Connections to Srpska Lista (Serb List) and Serbian Intelligence
Murganić has frequently accompanied Miodrag Milićević, director of the NGO Aktiv and a former member of the management team for establishing the Association of Serb-Majority Municipalities, as well as Igor Kalamar. These links directly tie her to senior figures in Srpska Lista, the Belgrade-backed Serb party in Kosovo.
She also previously worked within EULEX and UNMIK, where she developed close contacts with judges and prosecutors. Intelligence sources suggest that Murganić may have used these relationships for blackmail, extracting sensitive judicial information.
Espionage Activities
According to intelligence sources, Serbian security services have actively recruited ethnic Serbs inside international organizations in Kosovo, using them to gather intelligence and obstruct justice processes, especially in cases against former KLA (UÇK) members.
Murganić reportedly passed confidential updates to Srpska Lista officials on a regular basis, keeping them informed about internal developments in international missions.
The Arrest Operation
The arrest operation, carried out with the involvement of Europol, targeted both Murganić and her partner. Investigators suspect that the Croatian pilot leaked classified military information to Murganić, who then relayed it to Srpska Lista and, ultimately, to Belgrade and President Aleksandar Vučić’s circle.
According to Index.hr, Croatian institutions have remained tight-lipped. The Police Directorate redirected inquiries to the Ministry of Defense due to the involvement of military police, but the Ministry has not provided any official statement.
Both suspects have been interrogated, and a decision on whether they will remain in custody is expected soon.

Details of Espionage Allegations
Investigators suspect that the Croatian military pilot, previously deployed in KFOR, provided his partner with confidential data on Serb movements in Northern Kosovo as well as KFOR troop movements, from late 2022 until this year.
This intelligence was allegedly forwarded directly to Srpska Lista, in what appears to be a coordinated espionage operation benefiting Belgrade and Vučić’s strategic agenda in Kosovo.
