A wildfire has spiraled out of control in the highland forests of Trodhnë, in the Ulëz administrative unit of Albania’s Mat Municipality.
The flames have put several homes at risk, prompting police and the Mat Municipality to evacuate two families from the affected area.
The fire is also threatening two livestock shelters, raising concerns for both residents and animals in the area.
According to Top Channel, one livestock farmer with a herd of nearly 100 cattle has refused to move his animals despite the growing danger and the fire approaching the area.
Authorities remain on alert as the wildfire continues to spread through the forested terrain.
