Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled to visit the White House on Friday for a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, according to reports.
During the meeting, Zelensky is expected to request long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles from the United States to support Ukraine’s fight against Russian forces.
Earlier this week, Trump indicated that he might be willing to supply these missiles, which have a range of 2,500 km (1,500 miles), potentially putting Moscow within striking distance from Ukrainian territory.
This will be Zelensky’s third visit to Washington D.C. since January 2025.
