25 years ago, one of the largest massacres in Kosovo against Albanians by the regime of the criminal Slobodan Milošević was carried out at Dubrava Prison.
The massacre at Dubrava Prison occurred from May 19 to May 24, 1999, during which 160 Albanian prisoners were killed, and more than 300 others were injured.
Inside Dubrava Prison, there is a memorial plaque with the names of those killed in this massacre, which is considered one of the largest massacres committed by the Serbian regime against Albanians.
No one has yet been convicted for this massacre.
