Today in Piran, the body of Uke Sait Ukaj was buried, whose fate has not been known since 1999 until now.
And to honor his figure, MP Driton Selmanaj also went.
He said about Uka that he was a great patriot and that he loved Pirane and Kosovo very much.
Among other things, Selmanaj adds that criminals who commit such acts must be brought to justice.
“Together with colleagues, today we honored the figure of the patriot from Pirana, Uke Sait Ukaj, whose fate has not been known since 1999 until now. Baci Ukë’s body was found after 25 years, and today we honored his figure with the greatest respect”, the MP wrote on Facebook.
“The Ukaj and Pirana family lived for 25 years in the absence of Baci Ukë, who was a great patriot and loved Pirana and Kosovo.”
“The love for free Kosovo gave him the will to take the gun of the son of uncle Ukë, who today is a martyr of Kosovo, Vait Ukë Ukaj”.
“Finally, we pray for all the families of the missing, that the fate of their loved ones be known as soon as possible, where even after 25 years their fate is still unknown. Also, we should not stop demanding that the criminals who commit such acts come to justice!”.
“They loved Kosovo, they loved the freedom and independence of Kosovo. Glory to Baci Uke! Glory to all the fallen who gave their lives for free Kosovo!”
