Blerta Rugova, the wife of Ukë Rugova the son of the country’s symbolic former president, Ibrahim Rugova has publicly expressed support for President Vjosa Osmani.
In a post accompanied by a photograph on Facebook, Blerta Rugova wrote that “now is the time for politics to rise above narrow interests.”
“Green card for continuity. ✅ Green card for unwavering partnership with the United States. Green card for Euro-Atlantic integration. Now is the time for politics to move beyond narrow interests. Institutions must act with maturity, coordination, and a shared vision,” she wrote.
“Kosovo does not have the luxury of division. Nor of strategic silence. Our path is clear. Now we must continue and keep her ✌️,” she added.
