Albin Kurti has held a meeting with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to discuss strengthening cooperation and advancing key development projects in Kosovo.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, the talks focused on implementing the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2024, which foresees an investment portfolio of up to €400 million by 2027.
During the meeting, both sides discussed priority projects in several sectors, including:
- Road infrastructure
- Wastewater and water systems
- Energy efficiency
- Public transport
They also explored opportunities to sign new financing agreements in 2026–2027.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked the EBRD for its continued support for Kosovo’s development, highlighting the importance of cooperation with the institution in implementing strategic projects aimed at improving infrastructure and public services for citizens.
Representatives of the EBRD reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close cooperation with Kosovo’s institutions, particularly in supporting development projects and economic reforms in the country.
