U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has said that Tuesday will mark the most intensive day of American military strikes inside Iran since the start of the ongoing conflict.

Speaking to reporters at the Pentagon, Hegseth said the United States plans to significantly increase the scale of its military operations.

“Tuesday will once again be our most intensive day of strikes inside Iran — more fighter jets, more bombers, and more strikes,” he said.

Hegseth added that Iran launched the lowest number of missiles in the last 24 hours since the war began, suggesting that Tehran’s capabilities may be weakening.

The U.S. defense chief also claimed that Iran is increasingly isolated on the international stage and suffering major losses.

Iran stands alone and is losing badly,” he said.

According to Hegseth, the U.S. is now on the tenth day of the military campaign known as Operation Epic Fury, and Washington believes it is gaining the upper hand in the conflict.
