The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the outgoing Director of NATO’s Liaison and Advisory Team (NALT), Brigadier General Dr. Sven Lange, as well as NATO representative Blanca Hereza Atienza.
During the meeting, President Osmani expressed her gratitude for NATO’s continued commitment to maintaining security and stability in Kosovo, highlighting in particular NALT’s support in developing security institutions and professionalizing the Kosovo Security Force (FSK).
The President also praised the work of Brigadier General Sven Lange, who is completing his one-year term as NALT Director, thanking him for his contribution to strengthening cooperation between Kosovo and NATO. She reiterated the Republic of Kosovo’s commitment to peace, stability, and Euro-Atlantic values, as well as its goal of NATO integration.

President Vjosa Osmani received the Director of NATO’s Liaison and Advisory Team (NALT), Brigadier General Dr. Sven Lange, and NATO Representative Blanca Hereza Atienza.
President Osmani met with Brigadier General Dr. Sven Lange, outgoing Director of NALT, and Acting Chief of Current Operations at the International Staff, Operations Division at NATO Headquarters, Blanca Hereza Atienza.
During the meeting, the President expressed her deep appreciation for NATO’s ongoing engagement in Kosovo’s security and stability. She also highlighted the important support of NALT in developing Kosovo’s security and defense institutions, particularly in the growth and professionalization of the Kosovo Security Force, noting that this cooperation has directly strengthened the country’s professional and institutional capacities.
The President specifically praised the dedication and work of Brigadier General Dr. Sven Lange, who is successfully completing his one-year term as NALT Director. On behalf of Kosovo’s institutions and citizens, she thanked him for his valuable contribution to strengthening cooperation between Kosovo and NATO.
