Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, held high-level working meetings on Wednesday with the leadership of the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) and Kosovo Customs to discuss measures aimed at facilitating business operations and improving services for enterprises and citizens.
During the meeting with ATK Director General Mentor Hyseni, the discussions focused on unifying and updating business data in collaboration with the ARBK, ensuring that information on companies is accurate and up-to-date. Reducing bureaucracy and enhancing ATK’s information systems were also highlighted as priorities to provide more efficient services to businesses.
In the meeting with Customs Director General Agron Llugaliu, Kusari-Lila discussed creating additional facilitation measures for businesses, eliminating certain fees, and reducing bureaucratic hurdles at border crossings with regional countries. Cooperation in quality control of fuel and derivatives in both domestic and external markets was also emphasized.
Minister Kusari-Lila stressed that inter-institutional cooperation and improved business services are crucial for a more competitive and functional economy. She added that supporting enterprises and creating better business conditions are essential for sustainable economic development and generating more opportunities for citizens.
