The death toll from a reported Russian airstrike has risen, officials say.
At least two people are reported to have died, while 13 others were injured. Four of whom are in “serious condition”, said regional governor Oleh Syniehubov.
At first it was reported that one person was dead and 4 were injured.
Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, and the surrounding region have long been the target of Russian attacks, but have intensified in recent months.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Moscow of seeking to turn the city into ruins.
