Kosovo Police have intercepted a Serbian citizen at the Bërnjak border crossing after discovering suspected counterfeit money during a secondary inspection.
According to authorities, officers found four €200 banknotes amounting to €800 which are believed to be falsified.
With authorization from the competent prosecutor, the suspect and the seized banknotes were handed over to the Directorate for Economic Crimes Mitrovica North for further investigation and legal procedures.
The case is now being processed under applicable laws related to financial crimes.
