Albulena Haxhiu, acting President of Kosovo, held a meeting today with the Chair of the Central Election Commission of Kosovo, Kreshnik Radoniqi, to discuss institutional steps toward the announcement of new elections.
According to the official statement, the meeting focused on the importance of timely preparation of all actions related to the electoral process, in line with the Constitution, laws, and democratic standards.
Haxhiu praised the role of the CEC in ensuring a regular, credible, and inclusive electoral process, emphasizing that Kosovo’s citizens have consistently demonstrated democratic maturity and trust in elections.
The discussions also covered legal deadlines, administrative preparations, and inter-institutional coordination needed for organizing the upcoming vote.
