Democratic League of Kosovo, under the patronage of party leader Lumir Abdixhiku, is organizing a commemorative meeting today in honor of the life and legacy of veteran political figure Alush Gashi.
The gathering pays tribute to Gashi’s role as a senior member of the party leadership, one of the founders of LDK, and a close collaborator of the late President Ibrahim Rugova.
According to the announcement, the commemorative session will take place at 11:00 at the Amphitheatre of the Palace of Youth in Pristina.
Alush Gashi passed away on May 15 at the age of 75. He will also be laid to rest today.
