Orav Begins New Role in Ankara as EU Office in Kosovo Remains Under Acting Leadership

Former Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav, has officially begun his new diplomatic assignment in Ankara.

Orav announced that he welcomed EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas to the Turkish capital today, where she is conducting an official visit.

Meanwhile, following Orav’s departure, the EU Office in Kosovo continues to operate under acting leadership.

Eva Palatova has been serving as the Acting Head of the EU Office in Prishtina since Orav’s departure, while Brussels has yet to appoint a new Head of the EU Office in Kosovo.
