An investigative operation of several months has resulted in the arrest of two suspected agents of the Serbian secret service in Ferizaj. The Kosovar Intelligence Agency and its officials, who were the brains of the operation, managed to convince the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police to take measures with evidence. But who are the two arrested who are suspected of working for the Serbian secret service, BIA?

According to the sources, it is about Bedri Shabani and Muharrem Qerimin.

Gazeta Express has managed to learn in detail about their profile, what they are suspected of, and how they have acted since the 90s, and especially in recent years.

Bedri Shabani worked as a customs officer during the 90s, that is, during the Milosevic period, while Muharrem Qerimi worked as an official of the Kosovo Police, until shortly after the declaration of Kosovo’s independence.

It is interesting to note that these two people did not work in the team, but they both had the same contact in BIA.

According to information, their superior was the Serbian BIA officer Srdjan Rosic, a Serb born in Ferizaj whose name was mentioned during the testimony of Bogoljub Janicijevic in The Hague.

But what have Bedri Shabani and Muharrem Qerimi done or tried to do next?

Our information gathered from the security bodies of Kosovo says that the goal was to contaminate and criminalize the KLA, through the falsification of evidence or the fabrication of various witnesses.

Bedri Shabani, according to this information, has tried to distort the truth about the Reçak Massacre.

As is known, Serbia has been trying for years to push its narrative that the Recak Massacre was fabricated by the KLA and the international community, that the people killed there were not killed by the Serbian police and army but by the KLA.

With this narrative, they then try to delegitimize NATO’s own intervention in Kosovo. According to our information, Bedri Shabani himself tried to help Serbia in this narrative.

Of course, this remains for the prosecution and the courts to prove. As currently, Shabani is simply a suspect.

Also, there is information that Bedri Shabani has tried to invent another “Yellow House” like the one in the north of Albania, but this time in Kosovo.

The information collected on the operative route is that he tried to turn the yellow house into the former KLA hospital in the village of Mollopolc, near Recak.

Both Shabani and Qerimi have evidence that they maintained contact with their BIA superior both physically and through other contacts.

It is still not known when exactly they were tracked down by KIA, but it is suspected that recently they had tried to stage an ethnic incident in Kosovo: something that has often been seen in Kosovo. In all likelihood, this is where they were discovered. In any case, this is now a matter for the prosecution.

In this case, it is interesting how the suspects functioned as agents of Serbia. Bedri Shabani has lived most of the time outside Kosovo, while Muharrem Qerimi, after leaving the police, had tried to appear in public as an important person, or as someone who works for the KIA or some secret service of the country. In the meantime, he had continued to deal with real estate.

According to the information, the prosecution already has convincing evidence, incriminating materials for them and endless documentation proving that they were trying to harm the state of Kosovo.

In the coming days, we will also bring evidence and evidence of this case, and one of them is related to an ominous plan that they had against William Walker, the American ambassador who told the world about the Reçak Massacre.
