The trial in the case concerning the barricades erected in northern Kosovo has begun at the Basic Court in Pristina.
The presiding judge announced that an arrest warrant had been issued for Nenad Orlovic, one of the defendants in the case.
According to the judge, Kosovo Police went to Orlovic’s registered address to execute the arrest warrant but did not find him there.
Neighbours reportedly told police that Orlovic no longer lives at that address. Information presented during the hearing indicated that he is currently in Serbia.
According to the indictment, the defendants are suspected of blocking major roads in northern Kosovo using heavy equipment, including trucks loaded with gravel, excavators, ambulances, buses and other vehicles.
