The Basic Court in Prishtina’s Special Department has scheduled a hearing in the war crimes case against Muharrem Ibraj, who is charged with war crimes against the civilian population.
According to a court notice, the criminal case is registered under number PS.nr.17/2025, while the indictment was filed by the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo on March 19, 2025, as part of case PPS.nr.32/2010.
The hearing is scheduled for September 28, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in courtroom D17 of the Palace of Justice in Hajvalia. The proceedings will be presided over by Judge Violeta Namani Hajra.
In its notice, the court called on Ibraj to appear before and surrender to the competent authorities of the Republic of Kosovo so that the judicial proceedings can take place in his presence.
The court also appealed to anyone with information about Ibraj’s whereabouts to provide it to the Kosovo Police or other competent authorities.
Ibraj is charged with war crimes against the civilian population under Article 142, in conjunction with Article 22 of the Criminal Code of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY), which was in force at the time of the alleged offense.
The charges remain allegations unless and until established by a final court judgment.
