PDK Chairman Bedri Hamza has said he will not meet with VV leader Albin Kurti until MPs from Kurti’s party agree to vote, in the second reading, on amendments to the Law on the Specialist Chambers.
“There will be no meeting. There will not be one until the law is approved in the second reading. For Kosovo, this law is a necessity. These are not connected issues. Let the law be voted on, and then we are open to discussing other matters,” Hamza told reporters.
The PDK leader added that they are open to discussing the issue of the president once the amendments to the Specialist Chambers Law pass the second reading, EO reported, as cited by Rks News.
According to Hamza, a president could be elected through an agreement, but the candidate must have the attributes and qualities necessary to represent the country in the best possible way.
