The current KFOR commander, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, today welcomed Major General Roberto Vergori, who is set to become the next commander of the NATO-led mission in Kosovo.
The meeting took place at KFOR headquarters in Camp Film City in Prishtina, Rks News reports.
According to KFOR, the two generals will work closely together in the coming days as part of the transition process, ensuring continuity of the mission’s activities ahead of the official handover ceremony.
Major General Roberto Vergori is scheduled to assume command of the NATO-led mission on October 14.
