Kosovo have a 21.7% chance of being promoted to League A of the UEFA Nations League, according to projections published by Football Rankings.
The “Dardanians” are ranked ninth among the League B national teams with a chance of earning promotion to the top tier.
Ahead of Kosovo are Switzerland with a 99.5% chance, Austria with 94.8%, Sweden with 88%, Hungary with 71.3%, Northern Ireland with 59.4%, Bosnia and Herzegovina with 46.3%, Slovenia with 39.5%, and the Republic of Ireland with 24.7%.
Kosovo made a strong start to their League B campaign, beating the Republic of Ireland 1–0 in their opening match.
They then suffered a 3–1 away defeat to Austria before drawing 0–0 with Israel and 1–1 with Austria at the “Fadil Vokrri” Stadium.
After four matches, Austria lead Group B3 with eight points, while Kosovo and the Republic of Ireland have five points each. Israel are bottom with two points.
Kosovo have two decisive matches remaining in November. The “Dardanians” will host Israel on November 14 before traveling to face the Republic of Ireland four days later.
Under the rules for the 2026/27 edition, only the group winner in League B earns direct promotion to League A. The team finishing second enters the promotion play-off, where it will face an opponent from League A.
This means Kosovo’s path to League A remains open, but the final two matches will be decisive for their fate.
