Ana Brnabić, a candidate on the “Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia” electoral list, said her political camp opposes referring to Serbs living in Kosovo as “citizens of Kosovo” and criticised political opponents for booing Republika Srpska.

Speaking on Pink TV ahead of Serbia’s parliamentary elections scheduled for October 25, Brnabić accused representatives of the “Students Win” electoral list of saying that Kosovo was not a concern for them and of referring to Serbs in Kosovo as “citizens of Kosovo.”

Brnabić argued that these positions represented a political approach her party firmly opposed, describing the issue as crucial to Serbia’s future and the continued presence of Serbs in Kosovo.

“You see a clear political position that we are completely opposed to, and it is important to talk about it, especially tonight, because this concerns the survival of Serbia and our people in Kosovo and Metohija,” Brnabić said.

Her remarks come amid campaigning ahead of the October 25 parliamentary elections, with Kosovo and the status of Serbs living there featuring in the political debate between the ruling coalition and its opponents.
