The Deputy Director of Police for the Northern Region, Veton Elshani, commented on the arrest of Marko Dantiq for the 2023 attack on KFOR in Zveçan, stating that the police “will not stop at any moment.”

“We will not stop at any moment. For us, it is important to have sufficient evidence and facts about a person for them to be arrested,” he stated.

Elshani also mentioned that there are numerous other significant cases besides the one in question.

“We have many other arrests and sensitive cases occurring in the northern region that are just as important as this attack on KFOR soldiers,” he said on Klan.

He further emphasized that there is no location in the north where the police do not have access.

“What is very important is that there is no place in the northern region where we cannot intervene or have access. This is crucial for qualitative investigations of cases and for fostering a better quality of life in the north,” he added.

The Basic Court in Prishtina has ordered a one-month detention for Marko Dantiq, the Serb arrested for the May 2023 attack on KFOR in Zveçan.
